The Company's business fields include the production of cigarette spices, filters and other cigarette accessories; marketing and sales of cigarette products and accessories; as well as participation in kretek cigarette producers.

The forerunner of Wismilak, hand-rolled cigarette manufacturer PT Gelora Djaja, was established in Petemon, Surabaya, by Lie Koen Lie, Tjio Ing Hien, Tjioe Ing Hwa, and Oei Bian Hok.
1979
PT Putri Gelora Djaja was established in Surabaya to fulfill the printing needs.
1983
In line with business growth, PT Gawih Jaya in Surabaya was established to advance the cigarette industry.
1987
PT Gelora Djaja expanded; Butaran Surabaya became the place where the operational area grew.
1988
PT Gelora Djaja commenced machine rolled cigarette production.
